Motorola has at least two mid-range smartphones that could be officially announced at any time. After the Moto Nio that was seen this week receiving network and battery certifications, we have a new model making its appearance, so far called the Motorola Capri. This likely next smartphone from the manufacturer appeared on the internet receiving approval from ANATEL.
The model in question, which appears in the documents of the Spanish regulatory body, carries the model code XT2127-1, and by all indications, the device is scheduled to be presented in the first quarter of 2021. According to the most recent information, the Capri will be a new mid-range smartphone of a simpler level, which could be officially announced alongside some other more pompous model.
The documentation released by ANATEL says that the device has two SIM inputs, and that Motorola will provide the charger in the box, thus showing that the manufacturer has not yet followed the market trend adopted by Apple, Samsung and Xiaomi, which removed the charger from the box of your new smartphones. Apparently, this will be a charger capable of providing an energy power of 10W, but we have no information about the battery size. In addition to the charger, the company should also offer headphones and a protective cover, which is already common in other Motorola devices.
What can we expect from the Motorola Capri?
So far, we can only create expectations on what has already been leaked previously, especially during the end of 2020, which showed that the components of the alleged Motorola Capri do not have impressive numbers. Rumors aired so far say that it will come with a 60 Hz display with HD+ resolution, and a waterdrop notch appearing at the top of the screen to house the front camera, which in turn, appears to be one of 8 MP.
Speaking of cameras, on the back the device has a configuration of four lenses, the main one with 48 MP, accompanied by an ultrawide of 8 MP and two more of 2 MP for use in macro and depth capture. It is believed to come with Android 11 in the box, Snapdragon 460 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
As already mentioned in this article, rumors arise saying that a second model should be presented with the Motorola Capri, which we can imagine is a fuller version, probably called Capri Plus. This should also be a mid-range device, but with more attractive settings, such as an alleged 90 Hz screen, rear camera with 64 MP main lens and 13 MP front.
Over time, more information should circulate on the internet indicating its likely data sheet, prices, markets and so on. The way is to wait!
