Access to Stadia on non-Pixel phones is seen for the first time

Playing AAA titles is often a somewhat futuristic experience that fuels Stadia's sales. Until recently, it was only possible for users of Google's Pixel smartphones to use the game streaming platform. Fortunately, there have been reports that there are already people who have started testing the service on phones from other developers.

There have been reports of Stadia subscribers being able to open the Android app on phones other than the Pixel

A few weeks ago there were reports of Stadia subscribers being able to open the Android app on phones other than the Pixel. On the display of these users' mobile devices, the option "on this screen" appeared below the play button to play (previously, only the option "choose where to play" appeared with a suggestion for Chromecast Ultra or PC).

According to the report, it is possible to play a game via Wi-fi after connecting to a third-party controller or Stadia Controller. However, unfortunately, after accessing the game and exiting, access to the novelty is interrupted and the option "this screen" to play on the device disappears.

There is nothing you can do to get a chance to participate in the random tests. At least, what is known is that the few users who had access to the novelty had smartphones such as the OnePlus 6T, the Samsung Galaxy 10e and the Note 9. Apparently, Google chooses different generations of cell phones and different price ranges, showing us that even the simplest devices will be supported in the future to play on the platform.
