Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War has been officially announced by Activision. After the announcement, the rumors about the open beta were confirmed, where it was said that there will be an open beta, but that players will be able to have early access if they pre-purchase the game. However, there's a new way to get early access without having to commit to spending to acquire the title: it has been announced by Activision that 10000 beta access keys will be distributed this weekend.
This weekend, there will be the first championship of the Call of Duty League. On August 30 (Sunday) at 17 pm, Activison will give early access to the beta keys to viewers who are watching the stream on the league's official website.
If you want to enter the sweepstakes, you will need to register or log in to your Activison account and link it to the official Call of Duty League website. After doing this, you will be asked where you want to play the beta version of Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War: on PC, PS4 or Xbox One.
The keys to open beta CoD Black Ops Cold War aren't the only prizes for fans of the franchise this weekend. This Saturday (tomorrow), players will be able to win a code for the CDL Champs 2020 pack, which includes custom Call of Duty League items. To win, simply watch at least 30 minutes of any time during the two-day event. In this way, the spectator can win a code for a knife with the Call of Duty League logo printed on the blade, an item that can be used in Modern Warfare and Warzone.
Unfortunately, Activision has not yet revealed when the beta will take place, but it is known that Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War will be released on November 13th.
