Nintendo Switch Oled Model is announced, check out the news

The new Nintendo Switch was announced, but not in the way fans were expecting. Contrary to the rumors that pointed to the release of the Nintendo Switch Pro, in fact Nintendo revealed the Nintendo Switch Oled Model.

The new version offered by Big N will be released on October 8 in the United States, being an update of the console released in 2017. The new Nintendo Switch will cost US$ 349.99, which is something around R$ 1.795 at the current quote. In Spain, the official price has not been revealed, while the launch is scheduled for 2022.

Unlike the rumors about the Nintendo Switch Pro, the new version of the console actually is no longer potent than the original. The big news will be the screen 7 inch OLED, 17,78 centimeters, which will offer a look with more vivid colors and contrasts.

However, the new version of Nintendo Switch will keep running 720p in handheld mode and 1080p in TV mode, offering the same resolution as the previous console. The chip will also continue to be the NVIDIA Tegra Custom processor, which is also the same as the original Switch.

Despite not being a more powerful console, the new Switch will also have some other improvements. The internal memory, which was previously 32 GB, will now offer 64 GB. In addition, the speaker audio has been improved, as well as table support will make it easier to play in two player mode with some improvements.

It was also revealed that the dock will have LAN input, letting players connect to the internet directly on the Switch while playing in TV Mode.

The new version of the Switch arrives to replace a console that is a sales success, with 84 million of units marketed under Nintendo.
