During the EA Play Live held yesterday (22), Electronic Arts and DICE revealed to the public the Battlefield portal, a way that according to the developers "it's a love letter to fans of the franchise". The mode will be available from day one of Battlefield 2042.
In addition to being a nice gift for old players, Portal will also allow the Battlefield experience to be much greater than on other occasions. With the new mode, the audience will be able to "create your own Battlefield", with tools and features that were previously only available to developers.

Battlefield Portal possibilities, modes and more
With Battlefield Portal being a creation tool that features Settings, Logic Editor and Custom Modes, Battlefield players will be able to easily create their "own versions" of the game and share them with the community.
Portal will allow players to create modes according to their creativity, even offering maps, vehicles, weapons and soldiers from other titles in the franchise such as Battlefield 1942, Battlefield Bad Company 2 e Battlefield 3. Therefore, Portal will look something like "multiple Battlefields in one".
Many customization options
With Battlefield Portal, players will really be able to create their own modes and matches, using tools that will give a great creative freedom.
It will be possible to create matches an army will only use defibrillators, facing opponents who fight only with sharp knives in your hands. Or, you can choose rifles for one of the sides, giving the advantage of having firearms.
