➤April 2021 game releases 🕹

April is a month that brings some interesting games to the public. So far, we haven't had a calendar filled with many standout titles, with the exception of a few hyped games like Hitman 3 and Persona 5 Strikers.

As we enter the fourth month of the year, things are already starting to get excited, as usual, and major releases are getting closer and closer. April will offer interesting games, including a great PlayStation 5 exclusive that has been catching the attention of many owners of Sony's new console.

Returnal, a game developed by Housemarque, is one of the highlights of this month. The PlayStation exclusive will arrive on April 30, promising to deliver an interesting experience that mixes elements of roguelike, psychological horror and third-person shooter. In Returnal, players will control Selene, a character who has had to crash-land on an alien planet and has to fight for her survival. Each time Selene loses her life, the woman returns to continue her journey in this tense and visceral loop.

Returnal promises to deliver explosive combat, while the player must also worry about equipment management and the need to scavenge for alien technology to hone their skills.

Returnal is a title awaited by many PlayStation 5 players.

Another April highlight is Oddworld: Soulstorm, a game that will continue the journey of the Mudokon named Abe. Despite being a title also for PC, the new Oddworld will please PlayStation players a lot as it is one of the free games for PS Plus subscribers in April.

Oddworld: Soulstorm will be available on Plus from its launch day, April 6th. After Abe discovers his boss Molluck's plans and resolves to save himself and others of his kind, the Mudokon's journey will continue in this new title in the franchise. The game promises to deliver lots of action and various puzzles in 2.9D cinematic-scale scenarios.

An interesting game that comes directly to PS Plus!

Outriders is another standout game in April. Available from the first of the month, People Can Fly's co-op RPG will delight the green side of the force. Just as Oddworld: Soulstorm will arrive directly on Plus, Outriders has arrived directly on Xbox Game Pass, making it available to service subscribers.

In Outriders, players can adventure alone or in co-op on the planet called Enoch, while different powers and abilities can be used against the varied enemies that appear along the way.
