Assassin's Creed Valhalla receives major update that fixes several problems

On Thursday (14) Ubisoft released a major update for Assassin's Creed Valhalla, title released in December last year. The update fixes a number of bugs in the game, bringing improvements that aim to improve the experience through community feedback.

On Sony consoles, the update is lighter than on other platforms, weighing 3 GB on PlayStation 4 and only 2 GB on PlayStation 5. On PC, the download is 6.45 GB. Microsoft's consoles are the platforms where the update weighs the most, taking up 6.6 GB on Xbox One and 7.5 GB on Xbox Series X/S.

The update fixes several issues in various areas of the game. Open world and quest fixes address issues that caused players to get stuck in certain locations and situations, as well as fix bugs that made it impossible to talk to some NPCs, find treasures in their right location, and more.

Also bringing improvements to the graphics, the update fixes clipping issues, NPC animations, low resolution skins and a few more issues.

In combat, artificial intelligence and gameplay, players will also be able to find improvements after downloading the update. Guards will now no longer be unresponsive while watching Eivor burn their companions with pots of oil, as well as NPCs will no longer be able to be killed by the player hurling corpses at them in Vinland. Improvements to keyboard commands were also made.
