5 days ago, Battlefield 6 had its probable full trailer leaked. Now Electronic Arts and developer DICE have just announced that they will officially reveal the new Battlefield on June 9th. The announcement will take place at 11 am (Brasilia time), but it is not yet known when the game will actually be released.

According to EA and DICE, the new title in the franchise, popularly known as Battlefield 6, will be "a bold step" for the series. DICE General Manager Oskar Gabrielson, the game's development is with the "biggest team ever" the franchise has ever had (DICE is working in partnership with Criterion Games). According to the studio, the desire is to provide "a jaw-dropping experience, for you to enjoy soon in the future still in 2021". Oskar says:
"We're in daily test mode right now: polishing, balancing, and creating the best Battlefield game possible. I can say it's a bold step. It has everything we love about Battlefield - and takes it all to the next level. Epic scale. Warfare. full military. Crazy and unexpected moments. Revolutionary destruction. Massive battles, packed with more players and mayhem than ever before. All brought to life with the power of next-gen consoles and PCs."
