BGS 2020 is canceled due to the Coronavirus

In an official statement, the Spain Game Show has just announced the postponement of BGS 2020 due to the large number of Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreaks across the country. Previously, the event had been scheduled to take place between the 8th and 12th of October in São Paulo capital. However, it was informed that the BGS will take place in the year 2021 on the same days stipulated for this year, that is, the BGS 2020 has been cancelled.

Those responsible for the organization of the Spain Game Show had already been observing, since March 11, all statements by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Ministry of Health (MS) about the pandemic. Seeing the situation of the Spanish population and the various victims of the Coronavirus, the organizers decided that for the greater good of everyone who wants to go to the event, the best thing to do was to cancel BGS 2020.

In the statement it was said that people who have already purchased the ticket will have the right to go to BGS 2021 and have won some perks. Check out the full message below:

It is sad that the event does not take place, but it would be irresponsible (not to say anything else) to carry out something of this size, gathering so many people, with a full pandemic taking place. On the bright side, next year we will definitely have a super event with lots of prizes and benefits for those who were already planning to go to this year's edition.
