Black Desert Mobile is now available for Android and iOS

Developed by Pearl Abyss studio, Black Desert Mobile is an online game designed for smartphones in the RPG genre that was recently released for Android and iOS. Previously, in the year 2015 (Japan, South Korea and Taiwan), the game was released for PC and later, this year, it was made available for the Xbox One and Playstation 4 consoles. The game attracted so much attention, that it ended up receiving the version for mobile devices now, this end of the year.

Instead of porting the game from the PC version to smartphones, the developer decided to do it differently. The only things that remain the same are the character classes, the setting and the art style, the rest has been completely redone for smartphones and tablets. The player will walk through a fantasy environment using buttons and a virtual joystick. Along the way, the controlled character will be able to collect new equipment and gain experience points when facing enemies.

While classes are limited (5 in all) in the newly released Black Desert mobile game, more will be added soon. The character creation mode allows for deep modification such as face adjustments. Check out a gameplay of Black Desert Mobile below:

A nice point about Black Desert, in addition to its appearance and gameplay, is that it's free. Pearl Abyss, the title's developer, also announced a partnership with Amazon, where Amazon Prime service subscribers will be entitled to in-game rewards.
