The Borderlands franchise has a slightly different take on the FPS genre, having cartoon-like graphics and a lot of Hack N Slash game aspects that have become the hallmark of all games since the first one was released.
The Handsome Collection is actually a bundle of two games: Borderlands 2 was released on September 18, 2012 while The Pre-Sequel was released a few years later on April 9, 2014.
The game is available completely free from today (May 28th) until June 4th, 2020, so you will have 7 days to redeem. It is not necessary to install the game to have it added to your library, just complete the "purchase" process.

The Story of Borderlands 2 / The Pre-Sequel
In the fictional world of Borderlands, you are a bounty hunter who survives by doing clandestine jobs and contracts for characters in the world. While in the first game the main objective is to get to "The Vault" and open it, in the second game your objective becomes to hunt and eliminate Handsome Jack, who took over the company Hyperion and declared himself the dictator of the planet Pandora, which it is one of the planets where our character lives. Also, the antagonist is one of the characters that betrays us in the first iteration, stealing credit for what the player has done and thus trying to come to power in a corrupt way.
In The Pre-Sequel, the player encounters several of The Vault's original hunters, who reappear in the saga in the form of interactable NPCs. In this sequel you have the chance to explore and get to know each of these characters better and their personal stories, thus bringing the fictional characters closer to us, the players.
