Bungie confirms Destiny 2 PC bans were wrong

We reported yesterday, October 25th, that Destiny 2 PC players were being banned right after starting the game and were confused as they were not understanding why they were being blocked when starting the game.

This Thursday (26) Bungie admitted that some of the players of Destiny 2 for PC were blocked in a wrong way and that it went on to invalidate the restrictions.

      Bungie has already voided restrictions

Initially, Bungie tried to explain the situation by saying that "these restrictions were applied to about 400 players who were using tools that could be a threat to the game's shared ecosystem".

But soon after he published a note stating:

"As part of our review of our banning procedure, we have identified that some players have been banned in error. These players have had their restrictions lifted. The bans are unrelated to the other programs listed above. We will continue to review the process to ensure fun and fair play ."

Recently, Destiny 2 had issues in the "Challenge of the Nine" competitive mode where Bungie put the mode on hold for two weeks for fixes. However, from Bungie's information, it seems that the issue regarding improper player bans in Destiny 2 for PC has already been resolved.
