It looks like things are going to be busy for Bungie for a while. The Destiny owner will get even bigger, undergoing a major expansion in the size of its main headquarters in Washington.
The expansion "will increase the footprint of Bungie's headquarters from 84.000 square feet to over 208.000 square feet" and is expected to be completed in September 2022.
In addition, the publisher revealed that it will also open a new office located in Amsterdam (Netherlands) next year. While the main headquarters expansion will take place to "support various project teams, including those outside the Destiny Universe" and "tell new stories in the Destiny Universe and create entirely new worlds in IPs to be announced", the new office will be used as publishing and marketing center, with the "ongoing commitment to unify and expand its community of passionate gamers around the world".
Bungie wants to not only expand on its already well-known titles, but also release an unreleased IP by 2025.

In addition to expanding its headquarters and creating a new office, Bungie will also undergo internal changes, with job changes among its employees.
Mark Noseworthy, vice president of Destiny, and Luke Smith, director of the famous franchise, will take over the title's expansions. Justin Truman, who was the General Manager of Destiny 2, will now take the lead on the game's development.
Destiny 2
Destiny 2 is a title that continues to receive updates to keep its players with new content. In early February, Bungie announced a Season of the Select called Destiny 2: Beyond the Light.
Already available in the game since the 11th, the season will come to an end on May 11th.
