Activision, during the GDC, revealed some news for the mobile game Call of Duty. The new game in the first-person shooter franchise will arrive for free in North America, Latin America and even other regions for Android and iOS devices.
The title must go through a public beta, and pre-registration can now be done.
Call of Duty will have maps, modes, weapons, characters and even other content existing in series such as Black Ops and Modern Warfare. In addition, modes such as Team Deathmatch, Search and Destroy and Every Man for Himself are expected, as well as maps such as Nuketown, Crash, Hijacked and more.

"We're delivering the ultimate first-person action experience with a new mobile title with incredible graphics and visceral Call of Duty gameplay," said Activision Vice President Mobile Chris Plummer. "Together with the wonderful team at Tencent, we are bringing together a collection of the most beloved maps, competitive modes, familiar characters and exclusive weapons from across this famous franchise into an epic experience for the first time on mobile."
Initially, the game was mentioned by Activision in 2018 and is in development by Timi, the studio of Chinese Tencent. Tencent is the developer of PUBG Mobile, so it already has enough experience to create FPS games on smartphones.
Call of Duty Mobile does not yet have a set release date.
