Several adjustments were made in the last Call of Duty Warzone update, however not all changes were described in the changelog (patch notes). Among them is the change to the combat knife that makes you reconsider your loadout. In addition, Killstreaks have also been targeted, as a new change alters their interaction with vehicles.
Since Call of Duty Warzone launched (March 10), killstreaks and vehicles acted independently. If players wanted to use a UAV, they had to get out of the vehicle to launch it. However, according to Amos Hodge, Creative Director at Raven Software, it is now no longer necessary to do this procedure with this latest update.
"Have you noticed a slight change to vehicles in Warzone? Passengers can now use kill lanes while inside a vehicle!"
Did you notice a small little change to vehicles in #Warzone? Passengers can now use kill streaks while in a vehicle!
— Amos Hodge (@wendellwobble) April 16, 2020With this change, players will now be able to activate their attack sequences on any of the five vehicles available in Warzone, ranging from SUVs to helicopters. However, there is a limitation, if the player is in the driver's seat, it will not be possible.
Now players will be able, for example, to use a car and use the cluster strike while moving safely with their team. Another possibility is also to activate an advanced UAV from the skies while the other players shoot through the helicopter.
It is unknown why this change was not mentioned in the April 8 patch notes.
