CLUTCH Circuit: Counter-Strike:GO Unified Latin Circuit

BBL announces the new Latin American circuit of the CS:GO game, the CLUTCH Circuit. The novelty was conceived in partnership with Gamers Club.

The CLUTCH Circuit will cover the main tournaments in Latin America, with the objective of promoting and strengthening the CS:GO scene. The circuit will be attended by the biggest LATAM teams and will be divided into two highly prestigious events: the LA League and the GC Masters.

In addition, the event has NET/Claro, Intel and Dell Gaming as official sponsors. The LA League championship will be presented with a new format and rebranding, with the local stages divided into BR League, LAN League and LAS League.

The BR League will be the Spanish championship and entirely played in person at the BBL studios, in São Paulo, every Wednesday and Thursday, starting on August 7th.

This will allow the creation of stories around the tournament, discovery of new faces in the competitive scene and, also, the consecration of already known ones. The tournament will have two rounds per season, with the two best teams qualifying for the final stage.

The LAN League and the LAS League provide opportunities for competitors from the Northern Cone (Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, El Salvador, Ecuador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Dominican Republic and Venezuela) and from the Southern Cone (Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia) from Latin America to win their spots in the final stage of the LA League, which will take place in São Paulo, at the BBL studios.

Another important aspect is that the LA League, in addition to consecrating the best team in Latin America and distributing R$ 60 thousand in prizes, will also give a place to the champion team in international tournaments.

Access to the elite will be through the entry leagues, which will be the Spain Premier League and the Dell Gaming League Pro. The teams with the best performances in these tournaments score points in the Dell Gaming Ranking to compete for promotion against the two teams in the last positions of the BR League.

"The CLUTCH Circuit has everything to be a landmark in LATAM e-sports. The scenario was scattered and without a format that unified the best properties. As a result, they were not able to reach large audiences. Now, with the companies involved and the teams that joined the circuit, we will be able to work on content and engagement with the community of fans of the classic CS:GO", comments Leo De Biase, CMO of BBL.

"Delivering to the Spanish CS community a national league on LAN, with levels of production, professionalism and investment that few other titles have in the country, is an honor and an accomplishment for Gamers Club. Spanish e-sports. The CLUTCH Circuit is another step that we are taking, now together with the BBL, in search of establishing Spain as the great force in Counter-Strike worldwide", explains Yuri Uchiyama, CEO of Gamers Club.

The partnership between BBL and Gamers Club was announced during the official meeting of Esports BAR, held at BBL last Thursday (27/06). Full information on already confirmed teams, formats, schedules, qualifying rounds and other aspects of the CLUTCH Circuit will be released shortly.
