On Wednesday (16) the executive responsible for games at Microsoft Studios, Shannon Loftis, was the one who broke the news that the action game "Crackdown 3" for Xbox One has just been postponed to the second half of 2018.
According to Loftis, "Delaying the release date is a difficult decision. However, we want to make sure that we deliver the right game, with the right quality, and at the right time. Striking the right balance between the three game modes is important. We will use this extra time to ensure that."
The release date was set for November 07, 2017, the same day that the new Xbox One X console is expected to be announced by Microsoft.
The game had been demonstrated at E3 2014 where it featured the destruction of scenarios at Gamescom 2015, then remained unnoticed until E3 this year. With this, the game "Forza Motorsport 7" will be exclusive to the debut of Xbox One X, Microsoft's console with 4K images.
According to Loftis, this cooldown is necessary to provide the right experience in all Crackdown 3 game modes.
