Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed again, check out what the developers said

Probably everyone was almost 100% sure that Cyberpunk 2077 would not change its release date again, mainly because of the proximity (November 19) and the videos revealed by the developers showing details about the game, such as, for example, what shows the cars that will be present in the game. Unfortunately, however, the official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account just announced that the game's release date will be delayed by 21 days, so the title will be released on December 10, 2020.

According to the developers, one of the biggest challenges that CD Projekt Red is facing is preparing Cyberpunk 2077 in 9 different versions. Undoubtedly this is not an easy task and even more difficult considering the Coronavirus pandemic (everyone is working from their homes), after all Cyberpunk 2077 will be released for Xbox One/X, Xbox Series X/S, PS4/PS4 Pro, PS5 , PC and Stadia.

Although Cyberpunk 2077 has evolved to be a next-gen game, the game's designers want to make each of the developed versions work flawlessly. In the studio's statement, it says:

"We are aware that it may seem unrealistic when someone says that 21 days can make a difference in such a massive and complex game, but it really does."

Cyberpunk 2077 Got Gold Certification, But It Doesn't Mean It's All Over, According To Developers

Some may be wondering what this means since it was announced that the game had already reached the "gold" phase (means that the project was finished). Due to this fact, the developers explain saying that:

"Passing certification, or 'going gold', means the game is ready, can be completed, and has all the content in it. But that doesn't mean we stop working on it and raising the bar for quality. On the contrary, this is the time when many improvements are being made which will be rolled out via a Day 0 patch. This is the time period we underestimated."
