Cyberpunk 2077 has free DLC revealed during patch 1.3 announcement

Today it was revealed which free cosmetic items will be included in Cyberpunk 1.3 Update 2077. New items include new jackets, a new car, and an alternate Johnny Silverhand skin. To gain access to the game's cosmetics, the player will have to get a certain number of points in the game.

In the official Cyberpunk 1.3 patch 2077 notes, it was described what the free DLC available in the game will look like. Check out the details about the cosmetic items below:

    • Alternative appearance of Johnny Silverhand - can be enabled in Settings under the "Additional Content" tab.
    • Syn Deltajock Multi-Layer Leather Jacket, Punk Luminescent Jacket - both available in V's apartment after receiving a message from Viktor after completing The Ride. They are Rare/Iconic quality by default, crafting specs to craft a higher quality will also be unlocked.
    • Archer Quartz "Bandit" - Available as a reward or for purchase (depending on player choices) after completing Ghost Town and then receiving a message from Dakota or Rogue. If you didn't get the message, make sure you're in the Badlands area and move away from Dakota's workshop. Dakota will also need a few days to get in touch with you.

According to CD Projekt Red Senior Designer Miles Tost:

"This patch is our biggest so far. We've put a lot of effort into this one, so consider the DLCs we have now as a kind of goodies, a kind of cherries on top.

The reality, of course, and we've talked about this in the past, is that we differentiate a little bit between the different types of extra content, between DLCs, additional items of which we will have a lot in the future and of course the gigantic expansion passes over which We'll have something to say later."

DLC and story expansions were supposed to have been revealed at the premiere of Cyberpunk 2077

The studio's initial plans were for Cyberpunk 2077's DLC and story expansions to be announced at the time of the game's launch. However, CD Projekt Red's plans changed after several delays in the game's debut, where it still ended up with several bugs.

During today's live stream, Patrick Mills said:

"I can't talk about the expansion, but I can say that, without promising anything, I'm working on it and I think it's cool. Miles and I are working on it together and I'm really excited about what we're working on.

In case it wasn't clear, all of these DLCs will be minor DLCs, some will be major DLCs, but they're all free. All of these are free. Expansions, just like for Witcher, these will be paid for, but we'll have more to say later."
