Unfortunately, CD Projekt Red studio was forced to delay the release of Cyberpunk 1.2 patch 2077. The reason was the hacking attack earlier in the month, where the source code of Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 was stolen.
The official Cyberpunk 2077 profile tweeted that the new patch "goes beyond any of the previous updates". Furthermore, it was said:
"While we very much wanted to deliver Patch 1.2 for Cyberpunk 2077 in the time frame we previously detailed, the recent cyberattack on the studio's IT infrastructure and the broad scope of the update means that unfortunately will not happen - we will need more time.
Our goal for Patch 1.2 goes beyond any of our previous updates. We've been working on a number of general quality improvements and fixes and we still have a lot of work to do to make sure you get this. With that in mind, we are now aiming to launch in the second half of March.
It's not the news we like to share, but we want to make sure we release this update correctly. Stay tuned for more information as the time approaches. Thank you for your continued patience and support."

The hacking attack on the CD Projekt Red studio compromised the company's internal systems and the source codes for Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher 3 and other titles ended up being stolen. After doing so, the files ended up being sold in a dark web auction for $7 million.
About the Patch 1.2 release
According to CD Projekt Red, Patch 1.2 for Cyberpunk 2077 is expected to be released in the second half of March.
