Cyberpunk 2077: Mod makes the game run in third person

Cyberpunk 2077's camera was the first major controversy surrounding the game, starting long before its release and discussions of the issues that came with it. CD Projekt Red's choice not to allow players to play the title in third person caused discontent, including causing many to give up on purchasing the game and abandon the hype train.

The controversy lasted for months. Some players claimed that losing interest in the game was overkill, but others didn't understand why so much customization - something promised by CD Projekt Red - if you wouldn't be able to see your character.

After the game's release, modders wasted no time in trying to offer a third-person experience to fans who had been waiting for this opportunity. As we know, the world of mods often delivers fantastic content - and some not so much - and with Cyberpunk 2077 this would certainly be no different. Therefore, a third-person camera has already been added to the game, demonstrating what the title would look like with this option.

It is worth remembering that the mod is not yet available for download, as it is still a prototype, but with a video released, players can already get a taste of what it would be like to venture into the futuristic RPG in this way.

Developers Angry at CD Projekt Red

In addition to angry fans, requests for refunds and the removal of Cyberpunk 2077 from the PS Store, CD Projekt Red is also facing the fury of its developers, who met with studio directors to question them about the launch issues. .

According to sources told Jason Scheirer, a journalist at Bloomberg, the game's developers held a video conference with directors of the Polish giant and talked about a number of important and even controversial subjects. Changes in the company's reputation, labor problems, excessive overtime and impossible work deadlines were topics of the meeting. According to Bloomberg, different developers cite that the schedules were set by the directors, presenting unrealistic numbers of work. It is still stated that the game needed more time, even though the work was done six days a week.

One of the developers even joked that the game is a criticism of abusive corporations, and the title was developed with excessive hours of employee work. The answer to that was not detailed.

Another person on the team questioned the fact that in January, the company claimed that the game was already playable and complete, but with launch this proved to be a lie. In this regard, it was informed that the management would be responsible for the matter.
