According to the information said, there will be missions called Street Stories, which according to CD Project, will be something similar to the monster contracts (Monster Contracts) of The Witcher 3.

Philipp Weber, Senior Quest Designer, discussed in a "Developer Spotlight" thread on the CD Projekt forum, describing the differences between Main Quests, Side Quests, and Street Stories. ).

"Street Stories are the bread and butter of a street mercenary like V (Cyberpunk 2077's main character), a bit like hunting monsters for a wizard like Geralt. Even with Philipp's information, there is still uncertainty about what Street Stories will actually embrace. In The Witcher 3 game, Monster Contracts work like simple quests where Geralt picks up contracts from bulletin boards, finds the contract writer for more information, and does the work of tracking the creature. As of Cyberpunk 2077, it is unknown how these tasks will work and it is likely, it is at least believed, that V will earn credits for completing the job (Geralt never does).
