Studio Kojima Productions has not yet abandoned Death Stranding. Today was announced by the developers a special patch for the PC version of the game with content related to Cyberpunk 2077. According to the website IGN the patch has new missions that introduced characters not known in the game and stories related to the recently released title from CD Projekt Red. According to the information, it is possible to use special holograms, a robotic arm, the sunglasses used by Johnny Silverhand (a character based on Keanu Reeves) and other items inspired by Cyberpunk 2077.
In addition to the above, the new Death Stranding patch will still have a tricycle motorcycle very similar to the one that appeared in an image posted by CD Projekt Red earlier this year which you can check out in the tweet image below:

Hideo Kojima appears in Cyberpunk 2077 too
Shortly after the release of Cyberpunk 2077, players reported that Hideo Kojima appears in a quest called The Heist. Check out the image below that shows Kojima in the CD Projekt Red game setting:
Death Stranding for PC also has a crossover with Half-life

Availability and release
The new Death Stranding PC patch is now available to purchase. In addition, the game is 50% off on Steam and Epic Games. It is not yet known if the studio will make this update available for the PlayStation 4 console.
