Are you bored right now and want to do something for fun? How about playing Doom? In addition to the normal alternatives, it is now possible through Twitter!
Last month, a Twitter bot called Tweet2Doom appeared that allowed people to play Doom via commands posted on the social network. There is a list of keys to tweet and control the character in the game. According to the posted commands, the player receives a video showing what happened.

The challenge of sending commands through Twitter to play
Although it's a not very fluid version of Doom, it's challenging to complete the game's story through commands made via Twitter tweets. If you follow this profile on the social network, you will see that there are always tweets from people who have achieved new records or who pass the level quickly, but there are also those who are just having fun with the game, without any pretense. One player managed to complete level E1M11 in just 11 seconds (less than 500 game frames).

I confess that I prefer to watch people send commands instead of playing. It's funny to see the character walking through the stages without much coordination.
About DOOM
Doom is a game franchise considered as one of the pioneers in first-person shooter games. It was one of the first games to introduce IBM computers to the use of 3D graphics, third-dimensional spatiality and online multiplayer.
Originally released in the year 1993, the series of games developed by id Software initially arrived for MS-DOS. A year later, in 1994, was where the game began to gain more fame, as that was when it debuted on the Mega Drive platform (Sega Genesis). Since its debut, the Doom franchise has sold over 10 million copies.
