Marvel, Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics presented the first trailer for Marvel's Avengers, the ambitious project that will incorporate Earth's mightiest heroes in a spectacular adventure. The title will arrive on May 15, 2020.
Marvel's Avengers is a totally original story
The title begins the day Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Black Widow and Thor face an unknown threat from a SHIELD Helicarrier in the city of San Francisco. As they fight, a massive burst of energy is formed, destroying the city and causing thousands of casualties. Society blames the Avengers, who are forced to disband, as well as one of the publisher's most famous comics.

In the game, after a tragic event, the Avengers separate and are disowned by society. Five years later, with the heroes in exile, we must reunite the heroes and give new hope to the world, who previously protected Earth from the most varied dangers. Gameplay and narrative take place in first person, with single player campaign and online co-op.
Marvel's Avengers is a game with an original story written for the occasion. Crystal Dynamics' idea is to delve into characters like Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow and Thor, delving into their motivations and fears, as well as giving us a look at the common humanity and heroism of the stories.

The game will feature a cinematic single-player campaign and a series of online co-op missions, with up to four players, in which players will have to cooperate to resolve various threats that will be added over the years.
There will be no payments to earn elements. Every hero and region added to the game will be free. Marvel's Avengers will give users the ability to customize heroes with abilities, gear, and accessories. Additionally, the developers worked with the publisher to include clothing, costumes, and comic book winks. The title was jointly developed by Crystal Dynamics, Eidos-Montréal, Nixxes Software and Crystal Northwest.
