E3 2021 will be in digital format - See which companies have already confirmed their presence!

After being canceled in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, E3 will take place again in 2021, but in a different way. E3 2021 has been confirmed as a digital event that will take place between the 12th and 15th of June. The information was revealed by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA).

With the Covid-19 pandemic, doubts were created about the event, but now the public can rest easy with the confirmation that the news of the gaming world can be checked out as usual.

The digital version of E3 will be free and will allow access to all content. As always at the event, gameplays will be shown and new titles will be announced. With E3 2020 being canceled last year, players missed a big event that brought together the main news in the industry, but now, luckily, the biggest game fair in the world will return adapted to the current moment we are all facing. It is expected that in 2022 the fair can take place in person again.

Sony out again

As with E3 2019, Sony will not be present at the event in 2021. Choosing to hold its own events to publicize its news and carry out its announcements, the industry giant is certainly a strong loss for the fair. In the history of E3, Sony has always stood out, with its conferences usually being among the main ones and with many exciting presentations being offered to the public.

In addition, some large companies have not yet confirmed their presence such as Electronic Arts, Bandai Namco and Square Enix.

On the other hand, the giants Microsoft and Nintendo have already stated that they will participate in the event, as well as Ubisoft, Konami, Warner Bros. and Take-Two have also confirmed their participation.
