EA confirms new Battlefield for 2018

EA confirms new Battlefield for 2018

EA postponed the launch of the game Anthem to 2019. All to avoid conflict with the launch of the new Battlefield.

The RPG made by Bioware, was ready to be released this year. There was no set date, but the progress and evolution of the game, would indicate everything to be released in 2018. According to the CEO, Andrew Wilson, the decision to move delay involves commercial interests, precisely to avoid competition with the new BattleField.

Wilson commented that Anthem's development is in full swing, and according to the schedule, the game would hardly be ready before the fourth quarter of 2018, so moving to 2019 helps, as Battlefield will also be ready to launch on that date. "We don't want to have two big games of similar genres competing for public interest at the end of the year," he added.

Check out the trailer for Anthem:

October 2018 will be the month to see the new Battlefield, which has not even had a trailer released yet. Therefore, we have no information on which period of history the game will take place, much less the focus of the game. The new information of the game, as soon as they appear, we will report here on Techlifers.

In 2016, EA had this problem of releasing two games, Titanfall 2, despite having done well in the reviews, had lower sales than Battlefield 1.
