It looks like the next season of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone already has a date set to start! According to recent information, the third season could arrive on April 22nd. It is possible that the next season will start a day after an event that will bring about the end of Verdansk, the famous battle royale map.
Raising player expectations and creating even more hype around a possible end to Verdansk, Call of Duty League tournament host Joe 'MerK' DeLuca took to his Twitter account to share the image of a message that hints that Verdansk will be lost soon.
In the image, you can see a helmet with the name of the Cold War and Warzone titles, as well as a symbol indicating that Verdansk is in danger. The message cites the arrival of "hostiles", which are likely the zombies that are currently advancing across the game's map.
DeLuca did not reveal any details, commenting only on the April 21 date. Check out the presenter's tweet.

It is not today that there are rumors about Verdansk being completely destroyed. The Warzone has been "at risk" for some time now, with an expectation of a grandiose event being created by many players.
Recently, rumors even emerged that pointed to a transformation of Verdansk, causing the map to have a setting in the 80s. At first, this would happen to make a greater connection between Warzone and the title Black Ops Cold War, which takes place in this period.
