Just like Steam in its Summer Sale, Epic launched its first game sale. However, the company that owns the game Fortnite will not allow users to make bulk purchases of games.
Gamers are complaining via Twitter about Epic's blocking action on its online store in case of making purchases followed by games.
One of those affected by the block was Patrick Boivin who tried to make a purchase of five games in a short time on the online store and received the message that his account was blocked.
HAHAHA OH MY GOD THIS FUCKING STORE IS SO BAD pic.twitter.com/LLz9dGJyeI

Epic's press team responded to the rumors by confirming that there is indeed a system to stop purchases. According to Nick Chester:
This was a result of aggressive breaches of our rules. If players are experiencing this issue, they should contact support and we can investigate.
According to Patrick, what he did doesn't justify blocking his purchase because in his view it wasn't really a big deal.
I can confirm that my attempt to purchase a whopping five games (between $5 and $50) on the Epic Store put my account as possibly fraudulent. Maybe if you had a f*cking shopping cart option. Jesus!
According to Epic, this measure was taken to help the occurrence of the so-called "pile of shame" that happens to Steam users. Due to the various game promotions at the same time for extraordinarily low prices, players end up purchasing many games, but most of them are not even "downloaded" to play.
