Recently, a possible gift list began to circulate on the internet and gave hope to Epic fans. According to the "leak", the virtual store would offer 14 days of heavyweight titles, with major launches in recent years. The Witcher 3, Far Cry 5, Assassin's Creed Origins and Monster Hunter World were just some of the names on the list. However, to the sadness of many players, the rumors proved to be false with the arrival of the first two gifts available. While the leak promised Dying Light and Resident Evil 7 in the first two days of the promotion, Epic actually offered Cities: Skylines on Thursday and today made Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty available.

Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty is a remake of the game that was successful in the 90s. The title shows the adventure of Abe, the hero of the original adventure who is back in this new version, as the character discovers the terrible plan of his boss to the slaves in the factory where he works. Trying to avoid being turned into RuptureFarms' Tasty Treats, Abe begins his odyssey to save his peers and escape those who want his doom.

Reimagined in a 2d graphic style, the remake features gameplay very similar to the original title, including its mechanics, which has caused opinions about the game to be divided, with many players believing that the original content has not aged well and that for this reason the new version should present major innovations.

In the first version of Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty, Abe had to save 99 slaves from the factory, a number that increased to 299 in the remake. Additionally, the game that continues to focus on puzzles features more dialogue and answers than the original release.
