F1 2019 gets an update and supports DLSS and FidelityFX technologies

This week, another update for the F1 2019 game was released by developer Codemasters. The update brought some corrections and news that are interesting to improve the user experience when playing the racing game.

To make F1 2019 even more realistic, technologies were added to improve the game's image quality. One of them is Deep Learning Super Sampling (or DLSS), which has the ability to apply the image without loss of quality through the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Tensor Cores (only present on RTX GPUs, developed by NVIDIA). The other is the FidelityFX method, which is an open-source technology developed by AMD, where it is possible to apply real-time effects in games via GPGPU.

As FidelioFX is open-source, it is possible to use it on any video cards. This technology is being applied for the second time in a game (Rage 2 debuted). However, F1 2019 is being the first game to have to support both FidelityFX and DLSS, providing a level beyond image quality.
