For free! Call of Duty Cold War Zombies Mode Gets Free Access Week

The traditional Call of Duty Zombie can be played for free for a week. Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War mode will be available for players to face zombies for free and check closely if the challenge is really interesting.

The free period will be released on January 14th and will last until the 21st. During the test, the mode can be downloaded in a stand-alone version, without the obligation to download the full version of Cold War. After the free week, players who wish to continue fighting the dead will have to purchase the newest title in the Call of Duty franchise.

It was informed that all progress during the free week will be saved and will go with the player to the full game

Game Modes

Cold War Zombies Free Week will offer two game modes for Xbox and PC fans. On PlayStation, players will have three modes at their disposal.

The machine

Die Maschine is based on the classic map Nacht der Untoten from the original CoD Zombies. With up to four players working together with weapons, gear, Scorestreaks and a host of other key elements, Die Maschine offers the traditional Zombies experience.

As part of Requiem, an international faction, you will have to infiltrate and survive in the area where an abandoned Polish laboratory has opened an interdimensional hole with a huge particle collider. Obviously, several creatures are on the loose and you'll have to face them while you unravel the mysteries of the map or leave early to ensure your survival and earn rewards.

Cranked Zombies

This mode offers a race against time as the player searches for new zombies to eliminate. As in Die Maschine, at the beginning of the game each operator will choose a weapon to fight the opponents, but after the first enemy falls a timer will appear on the screen, so the player will need to kill another creature before the time runs out. If you don't get another victim in the required time, the operator will explode.

Onslaught - Exclusivo de PlayStation

As a mode only available to PlayStation players, Onslaught will pit two players in the fight for survival against diverse hordes of violent zombies.

Unlike classic Zombies, in this mode a Dark Aether Orb will confine the two operators to a specific location on the map until there are enough dead souls to carry it. The area will constantly change and more and more powerful enemies will emerge. The monstrous and strong Elites will also appear, but killing them will yield medals, blueprints, and unique weapons.
