Fortnite recently crossed over with the Borderlands game, and will now soon launch an event focused on the Batman character and his stories. This information was discovered thanks to investigations carried out by dataminers (those who prospect or mine data), who found the data in the 10.3 update files. In the midst of what was found, several references to skins and environments related to the hero of American comics were discovered.
According to the website IGN, the arrival of the character from DC Comics will not take long to debut in Fortnite. According to the files, his appearance will take place on September 21, the commemorative date of "Batman Day". It's strange to think that this date has nothing to do with the day Batman debuted in the comics, in May 1939.
According to what was discovered in the game update codes, we should have special items for the commemorative date, such as the explosive batarang that, it seems, will chase enemies. The item can also be used to stick it on the wall and other objects, and you can even use it to attack unsuspecting opponents.
It will also be possible to use Batman's grappling hook to move around the city, in addition to the cape and other accessories. To close with a flourish, the crossover will still have changes to the Battle Royale mode map, where Tilted Town will be replaced by an environment based on Gotham City.
