The reason was the addition of the possibility of purchases outside the App Store, bypassing the purchase system of Apple's application platform. In the midst of this somewhat unpleasant situation for the players of the mobile version of the game (Google did the same in the Play Store), there appeared on websites selling used products such as eBay, iPhones being sold by a surreal price, with some devices reaching a value of $15.

After the ban on downloading the game from the App Store, several iPhone users decided to sell their cell phones for a price much higher than the amount normally charged, becoming surreal.
