On the news page within "Fortnite" there were some indications that a new limited-time mode called "The Floor is Lava" is coming soon.
The mode is inspired by a traditional child's game in which it is necessary to avoid imaginary lava on the floor. The game update should arrive later this week.
In the promotional image you can see two characters balancing on top of a building, shooting at enemies and with the floor covered in lava.
"Go to high ground or build above the lava that is ravaging the island."
It is worth mentioning that Epic Games recently announced the "Fortnite" World Tournament, which will start on April 13, with 10 spots for Spain. Fortnite is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC, iOS and Android.

Fortnite World Tournament
Epic Games has revealed the official rules for the Fortnite World Cup tournament, which kicks off on April 13 with the Solo competition. In total, the tournament is 10 weeks, which will alternate between Solo and Duos competitions.
Rules
In order to participate in any match of the Online Tournaments, players must be at least 13 years old (or other age if required by another country). Minors will need permission from a parent or legal guardian to participate in the event.
Players must have their accounts in good standing and a minimum Account Level of 15.
