Games could get even more expensive in Spain with the arrival of PS5 and Xbox Series X

Last week, the values of the games of the title NBA 2K21, a game developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports were released. Due to this revelation, many speculations have arisen around the controversial "price of games" subject for the next generation of consoles.

You've probably already noticed that the cost of developing next-gen games will go up considerably in recent years. In addition to developing games for the PS5 and Xbox Series X, it still has the production cost for the PS4 and Xbox One games. Undoubtedly, the issue of optimization for two generations will generate an increase in costs for developers, but what would this value be?

Online game store Bol.com has recently published some PS5 games at prices it thinks will be available. Among them are Horizon Forbidden West, GTA V PS5, Spider-Man Miles Morales and Gran Turismo 7. According to the website, the games will arrive for a value of 75 euros for those who order theirs now, during the pre-sale.

It is not known whether the price stipulated by the BOL website is the launch or pre-sale price. There's also the chance that it's a price just to win fans and the company bears the cost of the official value of the games, whatever that may be.

What do you think of the prices stipulated above? Is it fair for a time when more and more people are choosing to buy digital games? Proof of this is the "PS5 Digital Edition" version that will be released along with the regular edition of the Playstation 5. However, in any case, one cannot ignore the cost of producing more than one version for different generations of consoles.
