Thoma, the popular "mediator", will arrive soon with update 2.2 which will be made available on October 13, 2021 through Hu Tao's banner. Thoma features the Pyro Vision, a spear weapon with a sub-DPS and a shield support kit. As a companion, it can be used to get a strong defense and a good bonus.

Most of the items needed for Thoma's ascension can already be obtained before the character's launch. However, Fluorescent Fungus is not yet available on Teyvat. Because of this, players will have to wait until Tsurumi Island is released with the 2.2 update to obtain the item.
To obtain Smoldering Pearls, you will need to challenge Pyro Hypostasis a few times. It will take 46 Smoldering Pearls to fully Ascend Thoma (each time the boss is defeated you will get 2 or 3 of them). Upon defeating other fire-themed bosses, the player will obtain some Agnidus Agate stones.
In addition to confronting the world boss, it will be necessary to fight some Treasure Hoarders to ascend Thoma. These enemies, when defeated, will drop Treasure Hoarder Insignias, Silver Raven Insignias, and Golden Raven Insignias.

Here players will have to face Treasure Hoarders again to obtain the Badges. In addition to these enemies, you will need to challenge the Violet Court domain on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays to obtain the Transience scrolls.
The latest weekly boss, Signora, is the biggest obstacle to developing Thoma's talents. In order to upgrade any of your combat talents to level 7, you will need to obtain Hellfire Butterflies from the Fatui boss.
