Genshin Impact: Update 1.6 release date and characters are leaked

Update 1.5 of the mobile phenomenon Genshin Impact will be released this Wednesday (28) and on the same day there will also be the premiere of the game on Sony's console, PS5, where players will be able to have an experience in high resolution (4K) with a great fluidity (60 FPS). However, even without the 1.5 update being available, there are already leaks about the 1.6 update, with character banners and release forecast.

What's new in Genshin Impact Update 1.5?

In Genshin Impact Update 1.5 there will be two new characters, Eula and Yanfei. This last character will be released as part of the Zholi rerun and has four stars, similar to Rosaria when she accompanied Venti's rerun.

There have been some leaks about Genshin Impact's 1.6 update. These are banners for the new characters to come: Kazuha and Yoimiya.

According to reports, there will be two heroes and the second is believed to be Ayaka. Previously, players were able to play once with characters through closed betas, so it's only a matter of time before it comes out.

In addition to the characters mentioned above, it has been suggested that the Inazuma region will be made available in the 1.6 update. This makes perfect sense if Ayaka arrives, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

Launch and availability

Genshin Impact Update 1.6 is believed to take place on June 9th.

Developed by miHoYo studio, Genshin Impact was released on September 28 for PC, PS4, Android and iOS. A few months later, in November, the title was released for Nintendo Switch. Now, on May 28th, Genshin Impact will finally get a PS5 version.
