God of War gets a mod that lets you play in first person

Developed by SIE (sony interactive entertainment) Santa Monica Studio, God of War (2018) is a game played in a third-person perspective. However, a player decided that he wanted to have a different experience and decided to develop a mod that allows the user to play with a totally different view on the title.

The God of War (2018) mod was demonstrated in a new video from the Speclizer channel, where it allows the player to view scenes in a first-person perspective. In the video, you can check out Kratos, Atreus and Mimir's vision. Through this modification, it is possible to check in detail how realistic facial animations are in God of War.

The only weak point of the video shown above, is not being able to see what the first person combat of God of War (2018) would be like. It's probably something more difficult to get it working properly. It is worth remembering that there are scenes in the video that may give important spoilers for the game. If you haven't had a chance to play it yet, just watch the first few scenes instead of watching the whole thing.

Controversial God of War (2018) Easter Egg Revealed

Last year, a God of War user discovered an Easter Egg in God of War (2018). The feat was only possible thanks to a modification in the game's camera programming code. The trick of the person responsible for the discovery allows you to see the same scene from other angles and it was because of this that something unexpected was seen at the beginning of the Kratos franchise.
