In celebration of International Women's Day, Google Play decided to honor them by demonstrating some of their best work in the mobile game creation market. The app's team acknowledged that "more and more women are entering the gaming industry and creating fantastical worlds that captivate audiences."
Here are five of their favorite games on Google Play, which they say is run by female studio founders, programmers, writers, designers, and many others:

For those who like relaxing games, this is the perfect choice. In it, you create a carp and you must take care of it and feed it until it evolves. You also need to use strategies to help it catch its prey, and gradually, the more you care, the more it evolves until it becomes a dragon! The fish can still have colorful young. The game is by Kim Tay Naylor, from LandShark Games studio.

Katherine Bidwell, co-founder of State of Play studio, produced this origami-themed puzzle. You can choose the default packs that come in the game, you can choose puzzles submitted by other users and you can also create your own and upload it! The objective of the game is to paint the blank areas with colored paper, leaving the screen a single color with minimal movement.

June's Journey - A Hidden Object Mystery
For detective games lovers! The game's narrative is set in the 20s and features June, who after having her sister and brother-in-law brutally murdered, travels the world to find clues about the criminal. Responsible for the creation of the plot, characters and narrative design is the German developer Rebecca Harwick.
