Gran Turismo 7 overtook Elden Ring this week to become the best-selling title. The information came from the website gamesindustry.biz, where it is said that according to GfK, the seventh sequel to the Gran Turismo franchise is the fourth new 1st place in the ranking of best-selling games of the week in the UK.
According to the information released, 76% of Gran Turismo 7 sales were for the PS5 version, with the rest for PS4. With Gran Turismo 7 at the top of weekly sales in the UK, Elden Ring dropped to second place. Elden Ring suffered a 69% drop in week-over-week sales and this result is not bad, as usually in the second week after release, copies sold tend to drop by approximately 80%. That is, Elden Ring was still a success, in addition to being the best-selling game of the year 2022.

Another title that has been drawing attention in the ranking of best-selling games is Triangle Strategy, a Nintendo Switch exclusive that is currently in 7th place. The game sold almost as much as Bravely Default II in 2021, but only managed half of what Octopath Traveler did (considering only physical media sales).
