Last Friday, November 12th, Rockstar announced that it has removed the sale ads from GTA: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition for PC. The reason, according to the studio, was due to the need to "unintentionally remove included files". The Rockstar Games launcher is working again, but "GTA: The Trilogy" still hasn't had its purchase page re-added as the company is working to make "correct" versions of the games available.

The oldest title in Rockstar Games' trilogy of remastered titles is GTA III (2001), the first open world game in the franchise to use the Criterion Games graphics engine. Its plot begins with a bank robbery in the metropolis Liberty City, where Claude, the main character of the plot, receives a type from his girlfriend and accomplice, Catalina. Claude manages to survive, but is arrested and sentenced to ten years in prison, however when the police were transporting him in the van, he and 8-Ball manage to free themselves by accident after an attack on the authorities, managing to escape and hide in a local. From there, Claude works for several gangs with the objective of carrying out his personal revenge.

A year after releasing GTA III, Rockstar Games has brought one of the most acclaimed titles in the series Grand Theft Auto, GTA: Vice Citand The setting is based on Miami, although the city in the game is called "Vice City" and its story revolves around the character Tommy Vercetti. Last but not least, we have GTA: San Andreas, released in 2004, the seventh game in the franchise overall. The three remastered classic GTA titles received texture improvements, as well as a better distance to view the scenery and improved controls for those adopted in GTA V. Something interesting to note, which brought a more current aspect to the games, was the implementation of Ray Tracing, in addition to a slight improvement in the graphics so as not to lose the originality of the works.
