the mobile game of Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is gaining today (6) another chapter: the Year 5, known by fans of the saga for being the year of preparation for the OWL (Ordinary Wizarding Level) exams, which can be done in the game. The announcement was made by the game's developer, Jam City.
In addition, players who managed to complete the Mayor (or Monitor) mission in Year Four will receive their respective badges in order to be able to assume the responsibilities of this role.
Year five of Hogwarts Mystery also has more fun additions in store, such as access to more areas inside the castle, as well as outside the grounds, like Knockturn Alley. In addition, new characters are available, such as the History of Magic professor Cuthbert Binns and the mysterious new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor. More Weasley family members will also be released.
According to Amanda Heaton, executive producer at Jam City, Year Five is crucial for any Hogwarts student, as "with OWL exams coming up, new teachers to navigate, and for some, a mayor's badge on their robes."
Heaton adds: "We wanted to reflect the rigors of this year on mobile gaming, balanced, of course, with the core extracurricular activity at Hogwarts: unraveling the mystery with your schoolmates. Year Five brings the most robust year of content. for the game, and we're excited for players to start this new chapter."
Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery was released in April of this year by Jam City and under Warner Bros. for Android and iOS devices.
