Heavy Metal Machines wins two-division college league

Heavy Metal Machines game developer Hoplon announced the creation of a college league for the game. The championships took place on a biannual basis in Spain, with the program's premiere taking place on September 14.

Tournament winners will win tickets and accommodation to have fun in Florianópolis in the summer, in addition to visiting the Hoplon studio. The championship final will be in December.

If you are interested in participating, simply organize a team from your college (all must be from the same institution) and send an email to [email protected] to register.

The university league will have three phases, one in which the teams are classified, another to add points and finally the final. The last stage will be subdivided into semifinals and finals.

During the qualification stage (first stage), the 7 best teams will be chosen to participate in the main league, called Elite Division, where they will count points (second stage). The selected teams will earn R$300 during the months they are participating in the tournament and those who "missed out", participated in the Access Division.

The mechanics of the rounds of dispute between the teams will be done in the "best of two" model to add points. The four best teams (which accumulated the most points) participated in the semifinals and finals. The two best classified in the Access Division will face the last two in the main division, to decide who stays and who goes ahead.
