Hideo Kojima, in BBC documentary, says he wants his studio to make films in the future

If you're a fan of Hideo Kojima's works, you must have already noticed that the game producer loves a scene, so much so that in the Metal Gear Solid franchise there are hours and hours of cinematic scenes that show the unfolding of the game's history. In other words, it's no secret that Kojima is a huge movie fan, so much so that he's even said that 70% of his body is made of movies. Now, according to an interview conducted by the BBC, we can really say that the Death Stranding author's intentions and dreams are heading towards producing films in the future.

Over the course of the 26-minute BBC documentary, Kojima finally revealed what everyone had been waiting for:

"In the future, Kojima Productions will also start making movies. If a person can do one thing well, he must be able to do anything well."

Taking into account the productions already made by the 56-year-old Japanese visionary, it shouldn't be too difficult to create a good movie, as the stories and "footage" in his games are more and more impressive.

Although the games producer made such a statement, about his purpose of producing films, it was not said when his studio, Kojima Productions, will start projects in the area. However, Kojima gave clues.

"I think in the next three to four years everything will shift to streaming - games, movies and TV shows. When that happens, movies, TV shows and games will be competing in the same space."
