Hideo Kojima Receives Two Guinness World Records It's Not For His Games

Hideo Kojima was responsible for creating the Metal Gear Solid franchise, and more recently, the Death Stranding game. Despite being famous for his creations, he won two awards from the Japanese Guinness World Records not related to his games but to social networks. Kojima just won an award for being the most followed game director on Twitter and another for being the most followed game director on Instagram.

The Death Stranding creator seems to enjoy interacting on social media a lot, where he posts both information about his games and photos with fans, artists or places he visits. Interestingly, he also responds to some people and retweets for example posts he likes, showing his appreciation for people's opinions. If we add to that his visits to the places where his games are released and his charisma, you will understand why he is so adored on social media.

A few days ago, there was a World Tour done by Kojima to visit some places where Death Stranding would be released, in addition to participating in several interviews with TV channels and websites. This and other actions by the game producer certainly contributed even more to the growth of their social networks.
