Recently, Hitman game developer IO Interactive announced that they are creating a new game based on the James Bond films. Called Project 00, the title will show the secret agent's origins. Its plot will revolve, through an original story, around the battle to gain elite 00 status in the UK's Secret Intelligence Service, MI6.
So far not much information has been revealed by IO Interactive. During the game's revealed trailer, images were shown of the barrel of James Bond's gun with the character's iconic themed melody. It is not yet known when the new title will be released.
While Project 00 is not released, you can check out the work of a group of fans of the title GoldenEye 007, a game originally made for Nintendo 64.

According to the studio, the company is hiring developers to "build this game title in an exciting and unique way", meaning the game's development is likely in its infancy.
2020 was a troubled year for the James Bond franchise. The secret agent's most recent film work, Time To Die, was postponed to April next year due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Metro-Goldwiyn-Mayer (MGM) film studio is up for sale
Earlier this year, the studio Metro-Goldwiyn-Mayer (MGM), responsible for the James Bond franchise, was being negotiated for sale. The studio valued at approximately US$ 10 billion was in negotiations with Netflix and Apple, but it is not yet known which of the companies finalized the purchase. Check out the full article here.
