    Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy for Nintendo Switch and Playstation 4 are coming soon

      The Jedi Outcast games and its sequel, Jedi Academy, will arrive later this month for the Nintendo Switch and Playstation 4 platforms.

      The sequel to Jedi Knight (Dark Forces 2) was announced during the Nintendo Direct that took place on Wednesday of this week (4) and will be released on September 24 this month.

      The development of this re-release of the game was done by Aspyr studios, which revealed that they will also make the sequel to Jedi Outcast, released in 2003. Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy should be re-released some month early next year. Aspyr's vice president of publishing said:



      "Delivering classic Star Wars games to modern consoles, with the experience maximized to take advantage of the latest controls and features is a responsibility we take very seriously. We can't wait to see the reactions of fans."

      Other novelties were also announced during the Nintendo Direct, such as the launch of several classic games from the Super Nintendo console for the Nintendo Switch Online platform.
