Joel and Ellie! Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey will star in The Last of Us series

On Wednesday (10), The Hollywood Reporter announced that the actress who will play Ellie will be Bella Ramsey, who played Lyanna Mormont on Game of Thrones. Ramsey stood out in the epic series originated by George RR Martin's books, masterfully playing a strong and determined young girl. Although the roles are inserted in completely different universes, Lyanna Mormont's strong personality is an indication that the actress will be able to have a good performance playing Ellie.

In the original plot, Ellie is 14 years old when she begins her journey alongside Joel. Although it doesn't mean that in the series we will see an older character, it is worth remembering that Bella Ramsey is 17 years old.

In addition to the roles already mentioned, Pedro Pascal also participated in other important productions, such as Wonder Woman 1984, Kingsman: Golden Circle and Narcos. The actor has already proven to be versatile, playing characters of completely different styles, meaning fans can expect a great performance as Joel Miller.

The HBO series does not yet have a release date. It was said that the production will expand the plot, but will not introduce changes to the core of the plot.
