Journey, famous game for PlayStation 4, is released for iOS

Journey, released exclusively for Playstation 3 in 2012 and later in 2015 for Playstation 4, this year is leaving its exclusivity with Sony. In early June we had the launch of a PC version on the Epic Games Store and now, taking us by surprise, a mobile version for the iOS operating system has appeared.

The mobile version of Journey was developed by Thatgamecompany studio in partnership with Annapurna Interactive. The news was revealed by Jenova Chen, co-founder of the studio:

"Journey, Sky's big sister is on iOS today! Thanks to Annapurna Interactive and Sony SantaMonica, three games from developer thatgamecompany are in my pocket, ready to play all the time!"

Journey, famous game for PlayStation 4, is released for iOS

      • Minimum and recommended requirements to run Fortnite on PC in 2022
      • Minimum requirements to play PUBG on PC
Journey is based on a pilgrimage that takes place in a land full of magic where, alone or accompanied by other online players, the user will explore different environments and contemplate the landscape.

Players cannot communicate at any time. One player encounters the other randomly, and although this happens by chance, joint actions throughout the game are important. This game mechanic is interesting where the interaction between people is limited, but at the same time it is necessary at different times.

The game was highly praised by critics and was even nominated for a Grammy with its soundtrack.

The game is available on the App Store for R$19,00. Check out the gameplay of the mobile version of Journey for iOS below:
